Digital – Computer paintings are a new and emerging medium of fine art that result from building on and manipulating a watercolor painting, a sketch, or film photographs or any other creative source. It is then expanded upon by the artist in some type of computer software that supports the use of color and line to create one composition.
Computer painting requires special equipment.
This would include a computer, a computer tablet on which to draw, a high definition computer screen and finally software that allows for creation and printing. I have a large format fine art printer that produces the finished product.
Each computer painting is an exact representation of digital information contained in the original computer file or scan. Digital paintings can be likened to prints that are made from camera film. Therefore, digital paintings are reproductions of information from a computer file.
What you see in my digital – computer paintings is fine art that I composed with my digital camera, computer and large format printer. You can request various sizes to enjoy these images in your home or office.
